Reporters – A journey to be cherished for life!!!!

“After thunder the rains must come....”

Yes these words exactly depicer the journey of my beloved show “Reporters”.

Reporters – Khabrein Dil se Dil tak! – it is not a name of just another show; but actually a title of revolution. A revolution which it brought in the Television world which before 6 months was dominated with saas bahu saga! It came as a thunderstorm on 13^th April’2015 @ 9 pm and showered upon us a story which is so relatable to the life of a common man, so practical, so believable. Each character depicted a trait which is present in each one of us. Everyone of us has a small portion of Kabir, Ananya, Richa, Manav and Malvika too in ourselves. All of us have a pinch of these traits and these spice up our life!

In the journey of 6 months Reporters has shown us the entire spectrum of human emotions and turmoil which we all go through in our journey of life. The Jaane Se Pehle (JSP) moments actually taught us lesson of life and I have always mentioned that to me JSP’s are like soothers and healers.

People say that Reporters did not fair in TRPs but according to me there are certain things which are above the TRP games and Reporters is one of them.  It has set a benchmark because it never let the essence of the show get faded for the sake of silly TRPs.

Yes, Reporters is a cult show, whether people accept it or not, they just cannot ignore it.

As the show has now bid adieu, I would like to pay a small tribute to some of my favourite members of this beautiful ensemble who made this historic event possible. Words are not enough to express my gratitude but I still want to give it a try; wo kehte hai na ki kaash se koshish bhali

So here I put my heart out for you:-

      Shristi Arya and Goldie Behl:- From Remix to Reporters you guys are just unbelievable! You do magic and set benchmarks impossible for anyone to achieve. Salute to both of you!

      Satyam Tripathy:- I am big fan of yours since Left Right Left days. And I am so happy that even after 9 years you recreated the same magic on us. LRL changed the face of Indian Television and Reporters repeated history! Your JSP moment idea was amazing. JSP was actually the USP of Reporters!!

      Shivangi Verma:- I am following you since your first show Hamari Sister Didi. And I must say that you are such a natural actor! How effortlessly you act! From Mehak to Richa your transition in simply WOW!!!!

      Puru Chiber:- Ronnie made friendship eternal!! And only you could do justice to it. Everytime I saw Ronnie’s friendship is so badly missed my best friend who is no more. Fabulous job Puru!

      Kritika Kamra:- You are among those few female actresses who has always opted for unconventional shows and potrayed them so well! You literally got into the skin of Ananya!!!! I simply loved the fighter spirit and Never Say Die attitude of Ananya. Thankyou for giving us Ananya!

      Sammeer Arora:- First of all a big big big thank you Sir for always replying to my FB posts. I am big fan of yours since EHT days. What a thriller series it was! No nonsense, straight to the point, a crisp strong story line. I was in awe with the show!!! Little did I know that 4 months post its ending you would recreate the magic with Reporters, again a tight gripped story which so real and believable. What touched me the most was that you always respect your fans wishes a lot, whether making Ronnie and Richa meet finally or Ananya sharing last JSP with KabirJJ

You are such an amazing person who though being a cult personality always took time to chat with all of us and respect our wishes! Thank you sir!!

And last but the best my hero Rajeev Khandelwal – Rajeev, the name says it all!! I am big fan of yours since KTH days. But fell crazily in love with you as Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat of LRL. Even post 9 years I still watch LRL on YT and miss it like hellL Your leaving LRL was a bit traumatic for me but I was happy with the niche you carved for yourself in Bollywood. Honestly I missed you lot on TV. I had even lost the hope that you would ever return to TV. But as what my Capt Rajveer said” Jab tak saanse hai tab tak umeed hai aur jab tak umeed hai sipahi har nahi maana karte!!” And finally you came back on TV as Kabir Sharma! Uff your attitude, persona, body language it all killed meJJ But honestly no other actor could do Kabir Sharma except you. They could not even come an inch close to the character! Only you had that flamboyance to potray that character. The way you reply to all your fans on Twitter (though I never get a replyLLL) is so heart touching! You care for all of us so much. And all of this makes me fall more and more in love with you! So thank you for giving me Kabir Sharma which made me relive my eternal Capt Rajveer (I dunno why but Kabir’s character always gives me flashes of Rajveer).  Love you forever!!!

So this is my small tribute the Reporters. I hope everyone likes it and I wish all the people mentioned above somehow get to read it. Sammeer Sir please help me in this !!!

Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end! They just mean that we will meet soon!!! With this I end my long emotional journey...

Aur Jaane Se Pehle, I would like to dedicate a song to entire Reporters team: Tumko bhi hai khabar, mujhko bhi hai pata, ho raha hai juda dono ka rasta, dur jaage bhi mujhe tum meri yadon me rehna, Kabhi Alvida na Kehna, Kabhi Alvida na Kehna!!
